Carving the niche

Currently, I am interning with Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Programmer Analyst Trainee and continuing as their full-time employee. I completed my graduation from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune as a Mechanical Engineer. The world of Information Technology amuses me. It has a lot to do with the teaching methods used back in my school. It taught me to be inquisitive.

Humble Beginnings

I came from a typically underprivileged background and had limited resources to get formal education. During this period, we got to know about Bharat Vidyalay, a school that gave free education to kids who could not afford it while also taking care of their nutrition. I was enrolled in Bharat Vidyalay and completed my studies till the 10th standard.

The SRC Support

When I look back on how far I have come, the only thing I feel is Gratitude for my school. We were blessed with some of the best teachers. I dedicate all my learnings and teachings to all my teachers and respected Mr. Giramkar, who provided us with constant support and help. I feel privileged to be part of the SRC initiative and look forward to being associated with the cause.

I completed my graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Animation and currently working with an organization called Affinity X as their Graphic Designer. Working in the IT sector is quite a joy ride since it was my dream.

Humble Beginnings

I am a proud alumnus of Bharat Vidyalay. It was like a second home to me and so many others. My family could not afford education for me, but I was fortunate enough to get in touch with the school at the right time and get the quality of education and care that we have received here over the years and still do.

The SRC Support

My school has been nothing but supportive of all of its students. The trustees, staff, all our teachers, and management are on their journey to make a difference in society, one student at a time. They do not just teach but set an example to be a good citizen first. My school has given me the confidence that I needed to stand on my feet and be ready to face any challenges that life has to offer and excel.

Currently, I am working with Visa Facilitation Services Global as a Visa Officer. I was always curious about learning new languages, which led to opting for the German language for my graduation. The teaching methods used in school were quite different than those used in the traditional education system. and they made a big difference in what choices we make as adults. It made us more aware of our surroundings.

I was enrolled in Bharat Vidyalay from kindergarten and completed my education till 10th std. My family was not financially sound to provide me with a proper schooling experience, and hence Bharat Vidyalay proved to be a great boon. It helped me get the type of education that other kids from our locality got, without any discrimination.

The SRC Support

Reflecting on how life has been, I feel extremely overwhelmed by the journey I have come so far. Bharat Vidyalay, with the help of Shri Ramkrishna Charity, is doing such noble service by providing quality education to underprivileged kids and changing their lives. We receive the same amount of love and support from all the staff and management even after passing out for years. I am blessed to have met the mentors I met in this school and forever be grateful to all of its members.

Currently, I am working with Flextronics Technologies as their GPS Engineer. Initially, I was clueless about what I wanted to do in my life after the 10th. But as always, my school and teachers came to the rescue. They helped me understand what I wanted to do in life. And I’m extremely happy with the work I do right now.

I was introduced to Bharat Vidyalay in kindergarten. And I have never felt out of place ever since the. Even today, after so many years of graduation, I still visit my school, and it feels exactly the same. The school works for underprivileged students who cannot afford formal education. I started my journey from here and it has been an exhilarating journey since then.

When I look back at all the experiences and memories that I have collected in past so many years, the most glorious ones are from my school. The friends, teachers, and other people that I met here were no less than mentors. I am so grateful to all of them. I have said this before and I will keep saying that whatever I am today is because of my school and I wish to go to great lengths to show my gratitude and affection towards my school and all the teachers.
